Analysis symbology
After running an analysis, Siter displays QD arcs, dimensions, and violation indicators on the map. You can customize the appearance of these symbols to improve readability or match your organization's presentation standards.
Prerequisites
- You must have run an analysis on the project (see Running an analysis)
How to customize arc symbols
QD arcs are the circles drawn around potential explosion sites showing required separation distances. To customize their appearance:
- Open the analysis results view
- Access the symbology editor from the analysis toolbar
- Adjust the arc properties:
- Line color and thickness
- Fill color and opacity
- Line style (solid, dashed)
How to customize dimension symbols
Dimensions display the calculated distances between features. To customize:
- Open the symbology editor
- Select the dimension symbol settings
- Adjust text size, font, color, and line style
How to customize violation indicators
Violations highlight features that do not meet required separation distances:
- Open the symbology editor
- Select the violation symbol settings
- Adjust the color, style, and visibility of violation markers
How to reset to defaults
To revert all symbology changes back to the default settings:
- Open the symbology editor
- Click the reset or Default Symbology button
- All symbols return to their default appearance
