Tools

The Tools section provides utility functions for working with geographic coordinates and digitizing features. Access Tools from the top navigation bar.

Prerequisites​

  • You must be signed in to Siter
  • You must have the CalculatorUser role or higher

GPS coordinates​

The GPS tool displays and converts geographic coordinates.

How to use the GPS tool​

  1. Click Tools in the top navigation bar
  2. Select GPS
  3. Enter coordinates in one format to convert to others
  4. Use the converted coordinates for feature placement or reference

Digitizer​

The Digitizer tool allows you to manually enter coordinates to create or position features precisely.

How to use the digitizer​

  1. Click Tools in the top navigation bar
  2. Select Digitizer
  3. Enter coordinates (latitude/longitude or projected)
  4. Use the entered coordinates to place features on the map

The Digitizer is useful when you have precise survey coordinates and need to place features at exact positions rather than drawing them by hand on the map.
