This section is a set of how-to guides for using Siter — each page walks through a specific area of the application with step-by-step instructions and screenshots.

Your account

• My Dashboard — your name, email address, and organization
• Preferences — landing page, working units, map layout, snap tolerance, and the defaults new projects start with

Projects and collaboration

• Projects — create, open, edit, copy, archive, and delete projects
• Project Management page — group, sort, and act on all your projects from one page
• Sharing projects — share projects with other users via tokens and manage access requests
• Comparing and merging projects — see what differs between two projects and merge selected changes

Map and layers

• Map view — navigate the map, understand its panels, and use the toolbar
• Layers — add, import (GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, shapefiles), export, and organize map layers, and set the base map
  • Feature labels — set the text and styling of map labels
  • Custom and hosted imagery — XYZ, WMS, ArcGIS REST, GeoTIFF basemaps and server-hosted imagery

Features (map objects)

• Features — add, view, edit, and delete facilities and other map objects

  • Layouts — place a grid, template, BLAHA, or path of facilities in one step and reopen it later
  • Path facilities — draw roads and other facilities as a centerline with a width, as a path layout

Relationships

Analysis and output
